September 8, 2004 -- Most of Unicare Insurance plans offer the flexibility of choosing your own Doctor, but you can save money by using the independently contracted doctors and medical facilities that are part of UNICARE'S network. When yon use one of these contracted network doctors that have agreed to accept lower, negotiated rates for most services, you pay a lower percentage of the provider's rate. Also a plus, is the in-network providers who accept our negotiated rates, pay a lower percentage of the lower negotiated rate. Do before you choose a doctor, check the provider finder on the Unicare web site at www.unicare.com.
